Snowshoe hiking weekend in St. Antönien
Comments:"A successful event" would be an inadequate description of this weekend. A lot of room was left for something to develop between people, in nature and within oneself. Thank you very much, I really enjoyed this. In a way I feel born again; here are some impressions and experiences I took home with me:
Living means being connected to the here and now and just moving forward step by step.
Leadership means using one's own gifts to walk down new paths and open them up for others.
Delegating leadership is not a weakness but a strength.
It's good for me to focus on my target and then let go.
It's my own rhythm that propels me forward and it must take priority over the aims of my ego.
I now understand that I don't have sufficient non-business contact to good people and that I would benefit from such contacts.
I now understand that humour – whether I like it or not – has to play a bigger part in my everyday life; it is a part of me and I have to make room for it. Sometimes I am taking life, myself, and my profession far too seriously.
As far as my objectives are concerned, this weekend taught me something important. On the way to the Alpenrösli with the target in my mind’s eye I was out of breath and didn't enjoy the experience and the view half as much as on the way home when I only focused upon my every step, my breathing and the environment.
